STEVE WALTERS MINISTRIES (SWM) is the extended ministry of its president Bishop Steve B. Walters’, Publisher, Author and National Evangelist of The Evangelistic Churches Of Christ, Inc.

Our goal is to provide believers and ministries the very best in oral, written and recorded materials and presentations that foster spiritual growth and enrichment. It is our desire to see ministries become viable and effective while its members develop into self-sufficient workers for Christ with an unmistakable knowledge of the purpose for which they were “called out of darkness into His marvelous light.” We are accomplishing this through the four areas of service we offer:

Ministry Of The Word: With a clear understanding of the proper relationship an evangelist should have with a pastor and his congregation, we intently focus on preaching and teaching the unadulterated Word of God with a heart for souls and a commitment to church growth and enrichment throughout all of our speaking engagements and revivals.

Publishing Of The Word: It is our purpose to make available published materials that will reinforce the principles, doctrines and beliefs set forth in the word of God (the Bible), while, at the same time, bringing to light the wonderfulness of the lifestyle and way of life called “Holiness.” We want people to have access to what God has promised so they can enjoy the benefits and develop a rich love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our publications are written in language that is easy to understand and furnishes the believer with knowledge of how to assimilate these principles of God’s word into their lives. Since publishing our first book “Receiving The Holy Spirit”, we have received wonderful reports from both ministries and lay people alike on how this has simplified and helped them in that area. We have found that when people clearly understand the word and can articulate it for themselves, they will be more likely to embrace and thereby benefit from it.

Ministry Development: We offer services that allow ministries to formulate and communicate, in a concise manner, their vision to the membership:

a) New Member’s Class: The best way that we have found to share the vision of the ministry is to develop a “New Members Class.” We help ministries develop a customized and effective class based on the doctrinal beliefs, church vision and responsibilities of the believer and a host of issues important to the ministry.

b) Helps Ministries: Nothing fosters growth and engenders a congregation to take hold of a church’s vision more than when people take ownership of its responsibilities. We train and help people to understand the ministry’s need to do the social and salvation work of Christ through the Ministry of Helps

c) Altar Work: Our book on receiving the Holy Spirit started out as an outline that was intended for use in training altar workers. It has some very helpful insights into the work that takes place at an altar call and a prayer room furthering the member’s commitment to the churches vision to win souls and pray for the ministry’s success.
