***** Chaplain (LTC) Donald W. Eubank, US Army Thank You Bishop Walters. I was deployed for a week of training last week, and when I got back home Saturday evening, your package was waiting for me. I read your great book last night and this morning. What an excellent and thorough work! You have covered all the bases, in so many practical areas (including dealing with how altar workers need to be aware of the simple things, like body odor and bad breath that can be so distracting—and not unnecessarily touching, patting, those who are tarrying.) Thank you so much.
We start our class this coming Sunday. You book is helpful, because you lay out all the issues, including obstacles/barriers to receiving the Holy Ghost, including deliverance from demons. So many are afraid to speak of these things of the Spirit. Yet we cannot be afraid, for the Holy Ghost is not a fear Spirit, but a Love Spirit, a Power Spirit, and a Sound Mind Spirit! (II Timothy 1:7). I believe in deliverance, for I have experienced deliverance myself.
It was my dear grandmother who taught me to tarry for the Holy Ghost. I was only 7 years old! And speaking in other Tongues! Praise His Holy Name!
We are praying for a great harvest of souls before the soldiers leave, but also, for a continued harvest during their one year mission in Iraq. The chapels in Iraq and Afghanistan are packed each Sunday, even though the media will never show the American public, with soldiers singing and praising God. Many are saved, baptized in water, and filled with the Holy Ghost. These numbers are kept in God’s books in heaven, for which we Praise His Holy Name.
Thank you again Bishop Walters. May the Lord bless you mightily with great joy, wisdom, peace, grace and faith in the service of our Lord Jesus Christ.
