Daily Professions For Sexual Purity

It is vitally important that we maintain our bodies, which are the temple of God, in purity. Unfortunately with all of the temptations presented in all forms of media today many find this a difficult thing to do. We want to let you know that there is something that you can do to remedy this. The Bible tells us that we are clean through the word. Therefore we have placed the following professions/confessions and scriptures that will empower you to overcome. We also understand that many of you are seeking the Lord for a godly mate. For those of you that desire one, we have provided the following sayings and accompanying verses for you to quote on a daily basis until the Lord brings it to pass.

Desiring A Mate?:
B I declare that as one that studies and meditates upon God’s word that I will not be without a mate and neither will I be desperate in my waiting upon God to bring us together (Isaiah 34:16; I Corinthians 7:2; Psalms 145;16)

Sexual Purity:
1. My body is the temple of the Holy Ghost and as such is made to bring glory to God.
  Therefore, I will not defile my body by having sex outside of marriage
  (I Corinthians 6:13-20, Ephesians 5:3)

2. I will guard my mind (emotions and thoughts) in the following ways (Proverbs 4:23):
  a) I refuse to look at anyone in a lustful manner (this includes pornography)
    (Matthew 5:28)
  b) I will allow the wisdom of God to enter my heart and fill my mind (Proverbs
    2:10-12,16,17)
  c) I will attack every disobedient thought with the word of God (II Corinth. 10:3-6)

3. I do not maintain company with anyone who attempt to influence me to defile my
  body in any way (I Timothy 2:22; Ephesians 5:11; II Corinthians 6:14)
