Welcome to our daily devotions page. This page is designed to give you a spiritual uplift during your busy day. Sometimes we don’t have time to enjoy a full meal, but are nevertheless experiencing a few spiritual hunger pangs. If this describes you, then reach for SWM’s “Spiritual Snacks”.

God Always Has A Way Out

“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that you may be able to bear it.”

Don’t Let Anger Rule!

Be ye angry and sin not: let not the sun go down on your wrath
                    .                (Ephesians 4:26)
We all get a little upset sometimes, but when it rules our lives to the point that we lose control, it then becomes sin.

Profess and Confess what you want in your life as if you already have it and refuse to confess what you do not want in your life even if you currently posess it.

Lost A Loved One?

“I will turn their mourning into joy”
(Jeremiah 31:3)

I said, “God, I hurt.” And God said “I know.” I said “God, I cry a lot.” And God said “That’s why I gave you tears.” I said “God I’m so depressed.” And God said “That’swhy I gave you sunshine.” I said “God, life is so hard.” And God said “That’s why I gave you loved ones.” I said “God, my loved one died.” And God said “So did mine.” I said “God, it’ssuch a loss.” And God said “I saw mine nailed to a cross.” I said “God, but your loved one lives.” And God said “So does yours.” I said “God, it still hurts.” And God said “I know.” I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not sumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. the sun shall not smite thee by day, not the moon by nightThe Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he sall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. PSALMS-121
